Gai O’Connor joined the Cory Johnston team in late September from Gilgandra in NSW. Gai was basically born into the grain industry, living on and operating a family farm.
She has had a diverse range of employment from accumulation to contract harvesting to grain trading and grain handling.
Gai made the move to the Sunshine State to be closer to family and look for new opportunities in the grain industry.
She works closely with Chris Carnell in our grain trading division and is looking to do business with the many contacts she has made over the years in both farming and transport.
Gai has just returned from a family holiday in the UK and is ready to hit the ground running in 2019.
In her spare time, Gai keeps busy with her family including four children and three grandchildren living across Queensland and New South Wales. She is a keen sports fan and follows and has been involved with rugby, cricket and netball, but insists she will stay a Blues fan despite now living in enemy territory.
